Description |
Rhizome long creeping; rhizome scales triangular, slightly indented at the base, attached by the center, provided with very long hair-like extensions, multicellular, glandular. Fronds monomorphic, spaced on rhizome, simple. Stipe articulated c. 1 cm from the base, 4-5 cm long, glabrous. Lamina simple, 25-30 × 4.5 cm, lanceolate in outline, base oblique, apex tapering in a 2-3 cm long point, margins entire, thickened, bearing multicellular hairs, lower surface glandular; veins simple, sometimes forked near the costa, with short hairs; costa with short glandular hairs. Sori in an irregular line on either side of the midrib, situated within the inner half of the lamina; indusium kidney-shaped, glandular. |
